Finding my way back: the power of support

My journey hasn’t been easy. Coming out of prison and trying to rebuild my life has been one of the biggest challenges I’ve ever faced. There were times when it felt overwhelming, times when I cried out in frustration and despair. But through it all, my faith and the support I received kept me going. I truly believe that God was with me every step of the way, even in the darkest moments.

My name is Patrick Dembrey. One of the most crucial factors in my journey has been the support of my coach. Having someone in my corner, someone who believed in me even when I struggled to believe in myself, has been invaluable. During the most unbearable times, when I felt like giving up, my coach was there to remind me of what I was working towards, to keep me focused on the path ahead. They helped me see the light even when I was surrounded by darkness.

The support I received wasn’t just professional; it was personal. It felt like having family. Knowing that there were people who genuinely cared about my well-being, who were invested in my success, made all the difference. It gave me the strength to keep pushing forward, even when I felt like I had nothing left.

I believe that my coach, and others like them, are true servants of God. They are doing important work, providing hope and support to those who need it most. I’m eternally grateful for their presence in my life, for their unwavering support, and for helping me find my way back. Thank you, from the bottom of my heart, for being there for me like real family.
