From the Go Further Connect editors: Through their world tours spanning over 15 years to over 400 of some of the largest, highest security, and worst prisons in the world, Deep Heart is changing lives through their events. We know that this time of year is the most challenging for those who have been recently released and the families of those still incarcerated. The message Deep Heart shares is grounded in their faith and shows through their message to everyone they meet.
Christmas Special
We know from our vast experience working in prisons that Christmas time can be a very difficult time of year for many individuals experiencing incarceration. So we made this video specifically to bring holiday cheer, personal love, perspective and compassion to everyone. On This video, in addition to the classic Christmas message, we speak to the issues of loneliness, how inmates can build a family-like brotherhood in prison, perspective from third-world prison conditions overseas, and much more.
We have received overwhelmingly positive feedback from this video. Many shared how they didn't have visits during the holidays and this video kept them going as we shared a sense of a family they did not have.
